Valve can be defined as a device or tool that moves between two pipes to stop the flow of water and similar fluids in the pipe, change the flow direction or release it. Often, in systems where fluid pressure is important, it is a device that reduces the pressure in the case of an increase in pressure or cuts off the connection of the pressure flow in dangerous situations. The valves, which are used today, do not just control fluid flow. They control flow, pressure, direction and gas, sludge or dry materials passing through the pipe. Valves can be produced in different sizes and different materials for various purposes. The valves are divided into types as radiator valves, solenoid valves, chiber valves, ball valves, thermostatic radiator valves, flanged valves. Valves are widely used today. Valves can be used up to temperatures down to -270 ° C and a pressure of 7000 bar, depending on the valve type. Valves can be flanged, threaded or welded in terms of connection. Most of the valves used today are manually operated. There are also valves used with mechanical and gear mechanisms.
